Post 107 Meeting Opened up the second meeting on time. 1900
Approved June 13th 2012 Minutes and Income Report.
Ken Myers did the prayers. Preamble will be issued by BJ for us to have.
Ron Kirkshank was accepted as our newest post member. He is a Vietnam Vet 69 70 ontra island main communication from Carmon bay to Denang. Retired from air line catering business. Married 40 years. from Columbus Ohio. Stationed in Germany,

Our guest speaker from the Red Cross presented how our post can help with his mission. Rod Cook is the Executive director for our local chapter. Rod is from South Dakota and has provided us the contact information we need as a post to assist in a time of need.
His travels took him as a young man took him around several bases and has a very good understanding of military life as we know it today. He is oversight will allow us to help with CRP classes, blood drives, and other world wide projects. Some international service for relief around the world includes inoculating every child. Disaster relief need volunteers. Rod only has 2.5 paid staff members. The emergency military services touch 30 to 33 thousand life’s a year. Emergency communication is a major effort. In the recent storm our county at one point had 90% power outage and in the 9 day period they supported seven cooling centers, provided 3000 meals, 700 bags of ice, and 6600 bottles of water during this past storm using volunteers. Please keep 740-349-9442 near your recall bill at home for the next storm and find out where you can go to help others in need.

You also can call and be trained as a D.A.T. member prior to the next storm or need. Disaster Action Team. We also have access to the Licking County Military Family Support group. 740-349-9442 They meet twice a month and help find donations and put together care packages. They also offer other services for families in the reconnection processes for family members once they come back to home. Help treat PTS. Ronald B CruiKshank - Presented his project to the post. Ohio GenWeb Tombstone project. Licking County. He will be providing us more information on how we can properly mark the tombstones of our men and women who have served.

BJ - Presented some vision of where she would like our post to be thinking moving forward.

We also discussed finding all the addresses and forwarding the mail to one P.O. Box in Pataskala. As of this meeting there are five addresses. The one I opened up from the first meeting that I paid for out of my pocket which was paid back to me at this meeting and not voted on. A total of three in Kirikersville and one in Pataskala so far.
